Motel is in older but improving neighborhood on West Central a short drive to Old Town. Motel itself is also older, but the owners, who are very nice, are continually making improvements. I stayed there in June and September and had no issues with the motel or neighborhood.

Very professional staff, very clean rooms, fresh paint, very hot water. The maids were very quick to bring extra pillows and towels. It was well worth the price of the stay.

Swimming pool is a bathtub in a creepy room. Nobody uses it. Breakfast was absolutely disgusting including the coffee and juice. In a horrible dangerous area. Then they said.."oh, this room smells like weed.." Really? I smell erroneous cleaning charges whenever they can pull it over on someone. Dont stay there . You'll be beating the homeless and zombies off with a stick. Yuch. I wish I never stayed there. Traumatic.

The owner was extremely rude and unhelpful. We booked this last minute due to a family medical emergency that requires us to be in the emergency room all night. When we arrived, after having booked the room on booking.con the owner told us there were no rooms and would not refund our money. He then told us he had a room in the Howard’s of $200 for a crappy, run down drive in motel in a very dangerous part of Albuquerque. Booking.con still has not refunded or money nor the hotel. Save yourself a headache and book somewhere else where they understand that they are in the “hospitality” industry.
